EC 2026 Organic Cotton T-Shirt

EC 2025 Tenugui Towel
The tenugui (cotton towel) is an everyday must-have item in Japan that has a wide range of uses. To name a few, you can use it as home decor or a table mat, to wrap things, wipe your brow, or cover your head. At Earth Celebration, many people use them as a bandana to keep the sun off their neck or head. Small, light, and multifunctional, it’s a traveler’s best friend.

EC Straw Mat
This compact straw mat has a sunny tatami edge, decorated with the traditional triangular pattern (uroko moyo) that adorns Kodo’s costumes. It has a waterproof backing, providing you a dry, comfy spot to sit during the Harbour Concerts. These mats were made on Sado Island thanks to a collaboration between two local companies: Yamada Tatami Center in Ryotsu Bay, and clothing manufacturer ulcloworks, which is based on Sado and in Tokyo.

Jute Tote Bag
This natural-fiber bag can hold a lot and it fits comfortably over your shoulder. The material is a combination of jute—a type of hemp that is quick-drying and breathable—and 10 oz. canvas fabric. Bring it with you to Harbour Market and EC Fair, take it home full of treats from Sado Island.
