Mizuhiki Workshop by the Sea

When you visit Sado for Earth Celebration, here’s a chance to visit another part of the island for a unique craft experience. At an atelier overlooking the sea in the port village of Tassha, give the delicate art of making mizuhiki accessories a go. You’ll create a one-of-a-kind piece, combining your choice of materials with traditional knots that have distinct meanings, like the plum blossom knot (ume-musubi) or the wish-granting knot (kanau-musubi). In this private or small-group workshop, you can take your time and find your flow as a creator. Come along for a peaceful moment during EC to craft your own Sado souvenir. ★ You can make your choice of the following accessories: ・Pierced Earrings / Clip-on Earrings ・Necklaces ・Brooches ・Keychains ・Kanzashi (Traditional Hairpins) ・Bookmarks
