Step into the darkness of the Shukunegi Coast, where shadowy rock formations loom against the night sky, stars shimmer above, and bioluminescent creatures sparkle like living fireworks in the water. The "Black Night Cruise" offers a rare adventure—during this exclusive nighttime tub boat experience you may see the bioluminescent noctiluca - a type of plankton that emits a weak light when stimulated. Only available at Shukunegi Hangiri and operates on limited dates—don’t miss your chance to witness Sado’s hidden nocturnal beauty.

・You may have to wait depending on the number of people and the available number of boats that day. ・Depending on the weather, there are days when you may not be able to see the sunset or the stars. ・Children ages 12 & under must be accompanied by a paying parent/guardian. Children under 4 years old may ride for free. ・The capacity of a tub boat is three adults and one child (lower grade elementary school students) ・Please note that, depending on the weather conditions, the experience time and itinerary may be subject to change or might get canceled. ・We will ask you to wear a life jacket for safety reasons.

・We recommend wearing clothing that protects your skin from the sun (with minimal skin exposure) and bringing insect repellent.
