Concert series "Bento Beats" returns to Melbourne, Australia this September. Ahead of this year’s offering, cast members at Earth Celebration will give you a taste of the powerful programme at this Special Fringe performance. Hayaben means “early lunch”—as in, you couldn’t wait until lunchtime to eat your bento (packed lunch). Join Haruyoshi Tsumura from Miyake-jima Geino Doshi-kai, globetrotting Kodo performer Kenta Nakagome, and Bento Beats host group WALAKADO from Melbourne. With taiko beats honed on Miyake and Sado Islands and great vibes from Down Under, it promises to pack a fun punch. Come and get your fill before lunch!
