Meet the Artist: Khusugtun’s Mongolian Music Encounter

Meet the artist

Join Khusugtun, guest artists of the Day 2 Harbour Concert Earth Echoes, for a free, immersive encounter with Mongolian music and culture. Discover the origins of traditional Mongolian instruments like the morin khuur (horse-head fiddle) and the art of khöömii (throat singing), while learning about nomadic life and heritage. Through talks, demonstrations, and hands-on experiences, you will explore their unique musical traditions born from the Mongolian landscape and lifestyle.
