Formed in Niigata in 1999, Rashoumon is a Japanese tribal hardcore group centered around wadaiko [Japanese drums], shinobue [bamboo flute], and folk songs. A world apart from conventional taiko music and groups, we perform at clubs and music venues nationwide armed with originality, expressive power, and our unique outlook on the world. Along with producing our own recordings and domestic tours, our vast range of activities includes composing music for major artists and performing on film soundtracks.
