Katsugi Okedo Taiko Workshop with Reo Kitabayashi (Kodo)

Join Kodo’s Reo Kitabayashi for a katsugi okedo taiko (barrel drum on a shoulder strap) workshop designed for beginners and experienced players alike. In this session, you’ll experience firsthand how Reo practices to hone his katsugi technique. If you have any questions or specific challenges with your katsugi technique, don’t be shy! Reo would love to hear them. He’ll share his insights and advice with the group, and everyone will have the chance to put those techniques into practice together.
